Land and Estates

Estates are typically small areas within buildings that can be owned by the player. All Estates have Item Point stats which dictate how many items can be placed inside, so be sure to check this before purchasing one. You can view this by going to the Estate, and right clicking the Estate Terminal outside. Ownership of an Estate is through an Estate Deed, which can be traded with other players.

Apartments are the main type of estate in Entropia Universe. These estates are used for player housing, and come in many different sizes, locations and layouts.

Players can decorate their estates with various furniture and decorations that can be bought from other players or crafted.

Shops, like apartments, come in many different locations, sizes and layouts. Commonly, shops are found within Shopping Malls alongside many other shops. Inside shops, you can also place furniture and decorate, but shops allow you to set prices on placed objects in order to sell them. As a result, shops are typically much more expensive compared to apartments and houses.

Like the name suggests, land areas are large areas of land in various places across the planets. These areas are much like others, with their own selection of mobs and resources that the players can hunt and mine on. Land Area owners set a Tax Rate on the land for hunting, mining and shopping.

When you enter a Land Area, you will receive a notification that will alert you to this and also display the Tax Rates for that area.

Land Areas can be developed by owners to offer different mobs, teleporters, terminals and other improvements. Many Land Areas run events, so be sure to check the Forums for any information about these.
