Introduction to crafting on Next Island
This guide will learn you the basics of crafting on Next Island. If you are already a more experienced crafter, feel free to skip the basics part and head straight to the part about crafting on Next Island.
Basics of Crafting
To get started click on the construction station on your right. You see a window with all your blueprints. If you do not see any blueprints, you do not own any, therefore you must go and speak to a technician to buy some blueprints. Once you have the blueprint you should see it on the interface of the construction station, first you should see what level the blueprint has, then the quality rating of that blueprint, followed by the success rate of crafting said item and, in the end, you see how many attempts you have. All you need to do now is gather the needed ingredients shown below. Ideally with a quality rating 0 blueprint this success rate should be at least 60 % this means you craft around your level. If you have a high enough crafting experience this success rate should go up to 81%. Look that you do not craft items where you have a low success rate otherwise you end up losing a lot of money. Note here that success rate does not equal successful tries. In my experience the successful tries will be about half of your success rate and the other half will be partly successful.
Crafting on Next Island
To start crafting on Next Island I advise you to go to the village below Paradise Landing! Just leave this building go to the right and you see a big sign that will lead you down to the village. When you are in the village make sure to talk to May the Crafting Instructor. She will give you the basics again but more importantly provide you with a Lesser Elysia Blueprint and some ingredients to make your first attempts. This is a basic but important Blueprint for Next Island; There is a multifaction daily of the loyalist, which requires you to do 50 attempts of this blueprint and awards you with a choice of limited blueprints specific to Next Island. Also make sure to visit Tanzanite View to fetch another quest to do 50 successful crafts of Lesser Elysia, if you complete this task, you will get loads of experience how to make textile. Well adventurer this is just a first small insight in all the crafting options Next Island have to offer! Explore yourself or get lucky and find some of my missing notes to get further insight.
I wish you the best of success.
